Snow

We were so much luckier than most of the country with the late November snowfall.

Nevertheless, we were snowed in for three days and were unable to get post out to stitchers eagerly waiting for their new tapestries. Even the orders I did get to the Post Office stayed right there because The Royal Mail were not collecting.  Roads Railways and Airports were just not functioning.

Mercifully, it was only three days.   Suddenly it was warmer (5 degrees above freezing brought the temperature up to the cosy inside of the fridge range) and a night of rain meant by the morning we could see our cars and the surface of the  road.
We are back to normal now.
